Barry has 30 years of experience as a visual artist specialising in sculpture and conceptual design. His passion lies in working with others to create pieces of art which enhance placemaking efforts and community cohesion by fostering a sense of pride and belonging in local areas. Though largely based in Scotland, this work has also taken Barry across the globe; highlighting the adaptability of his skills and knowledge gained over decades of varied experience. Barry gains inspiration from his surroundings, with a particular affinity for the natural environment and heritage of the area he is working in.
